Environmental Data Management Best Practices Webinar
NASA Earthdata Webinar Series
September 10, 11, and 12, 2013
Abstract
The ORNL DAAC is hosting a two-part Environmental Data Management Best Practices Webinar as a part of the NASA Earthdata Webinar Series. Our goal for this two-part webinar is to provide guidance on fundamental data management practices that investigators should perform during the course of data collection to improve the usability of their data sets. These practices will make data easier to analyze and share, especially within your group. There is no charge for this webinar.
By following the practices taught in this two-part webinar, your data will be less prone to error, more efficiently structured for your own analysis, and more readily understandable for any future questions that they might help address. Target audience: Early career scientists (graduate students, post-docs), but is open to any researchers who would benefit from developing better data management skills.
