The ORNL DAAC strives to archive finalized and quality-assured products. However, occasionally the product originators or those who use the products come across problems with the product files.

When product files have to be changed, the ORNL DAAC sends an e-mail message to those who ordered the old (incorrect)products to inform them of the nature of the change and how to order the revised product.

In addition, the DAAC makes sure that future users of the product know that it has been revised. Changes are described in the documentation, and the DAAC posts the changes on this Web page (see below).

Users are also an important part of ensuring the quality of the ORNL DAAC's products. Should you find questionable values in products you've ordered from the ORNL DAAC, please contact our User Services Office.
