All of our data sets are documented. The great majority use the EOSDIS Guide Document format and have extensive information about methods, formats, dates, locations, instrumentation, and more. When you order a data set online the appropriate documentation is normally packaged with the order. Without ordering, you may browse all our data set documentation on our documentation list page. 

During data collection, some projects took the time to document their activities in photographs. This helps a data user visualize where the work was performed. We have archived these photos for several projects. See our photo galleries page for details.
